Five Days Rest

After the marathon I did not run at all for five days straight. Then yesterday I finally laced up the shoes and went out the door for about 10K. And it felt great. The weather was cool, my legs were fresh, and I felt as if I could run another 10K. But I held back and told myself there were plenty of days for me to start building up some more mileage again.
